Groupage / LCL involves the consolidation of different smaller shipments into one trailer from the same origin port which is then shipped and delivered across borders. This method is safe and secure and produces cost savings for the customer as the cost of shipping is split over different customers.

Our Rotterdam and Dublin warehouses are truly multi-purpose warehouses, handling a wide variety of products. Long materials as pipes and crash barriers , bicycles and of course also standard pallet shipments.
Groupage and LCL shipments are consolidated in standard containers or curtain sided containers depending on the materials characteristics. In our Dublin warehouse we handle cargo if necessary or alternatively deliver directly from the container directly to our clients.
“Less than container load” is the transportation of small ocean freight shipments not requiring the full capacity of an ocean container and is the opposite of FCL “full container load”. LCL is usually less than 20 CBM (cubic meters).
